This would be irresponsibility to the heroes of April 9, - the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said during his speech at the public meeting.

As the head of the government noted, since 2020, the radical opposition and related NGOs have already tried to organize a revolution twice.

"There is a famous saying of Winston Churchill: in politics there are no permanent friends and enemies, there are permanent interests. The examples of Afghanistan and Ukraine proved once again that the only permanent friend of the state is its sovereignty. Sovereignty is the strongest guarantee of a country's security. That is why we cannot agree to any demand that implies giving up Georgia's independence. This would be irresponsibility to the heroes of April 9, who sacrificed themselves here, on this square, for the idea of national independence of Georgia.

Especially in recent years, "Georgian Dream" has proved that walking on the fur bridge and in the most difficult situation can achieve the best results for the country. Since 2020, the radical opposition and related NGOs have already tried twice to organize a revolution. They did not leave this country for 3 years and practically kept it in a permanent revolutionary regime. If we go further, they have not haunted our country for 20 years. And now, in order to hide their own black money, they are not shying away from the third attempt to disrupt the country," said the Prime Minister.
