Representatives of the Russian occupation forces illegally arrested three citizens of Georgia in the occupied territory, near the occupied villages of Zemo Artsevi and Otrevi. The State Security Service disseminates information about this.

According to their explanation, upon receiving information about the mentioned incident, the State Security Service activated the "hot line" operated by the European Union Monitoring Mission.

"Information about another fact of illegal detention was immediately reported to the co-chairs of the international discussions in Geneva and international partners.

All existing mechanisms for the release of illegally detained Georgian citizens have been activated.

Responsibility for all destructive actions committed on the occupied territories of Georgia, as well as along the occupation line, rests with the occupying power," the State Security Service said in a statement.
