Biography

In 2003, he graduated from Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University, Faculty of History. He is the former captain of the Georgian national football team. Kaladze played as left and central defender. He was a member of the national football team from 1996 to 2012; From 1998 to 2001, he played for Dynamo Kyiv; 2001-2010 AC Milan; 2010-2012 Genoa. From 2012 to 2016, he was Minister of Energy / Vice Prime Minister of Georgia; In 2017, he was elected Mayor of Tbilisi. He was re-elected as Mayor in 2021.
